PERANAN LINEN ATTENDANT DALAM MENUNJANG KELANCARAN OPERASIONAL PADA DEPARTEMEN HOUSEKEEPING DI FRESHFIELDS HOTEL TAICHUNG

Penelitian ini membahas peranan strategis linen attendant dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional Departemen Housekeeping di Freshfields Hotel Taichung, Taiwan. Linen attendant memiliki tanggung jawab penting dalam menjamin ketersediaan, kebersihan, dan kelayakan linen, seperti seprai, handuk, dan sarung bantal, yang merupakan elemen vital dalam pelayanan kamar hotel. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pihak hotel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosedur kerja yang sistematis, koordinasi lintas bagian, serta kedisiplinan dalam menjalankan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) menjadi faktor utama dalam efektivitas kerja linen attendant. Peran mereka tidak hanya teknis, tetapi juga strategis dalam menjaga kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan tamu. Dengan demikian, keberadaan linen attendant menjadi komponen penting dalam membentuk citra profesional dan operasional hotel yang efisien.
